Description
Keldby Kirke was built around 1250. When during the late Gothic period the original Romanesque beamed ceiling was replaced by fan vaulting, the Elmelunde Master was asked to carry out the design, typically mixing secular and sacred motifs; we can see Joseph making porridge for the baby Jesus.
