Description
This fjord-like, deep-green lake is one of the most attractive in Bavaria, as it is embedded in a tremendous mountain setting with the Watzmann to the west and is surrounded by high limestone cliffs. From the cafe at Malerwinkel it is just a 5 min. walk to the famous viewpoint of the same name.
