Description
This show cave with its 68 m long cave lake is one of the biggest and most beautiful in Europe. It was created by mining as gypsum was mined here from 1778 to 1903. As gypsum cultivates the crystals which were used back then to embellish statues of Mary, the name "Marienglas" was coined.
