Description
Races and Records" is the name of one of the levels at the Mercedes-Benz Museum: More than 40 racing cars are on display at the futuristic double helix building which was officially opened in 2006. The exhibits spread over the 16,000 m2 of exhibition space include all the other treasures documenting over 100 years of automotive history, such as the famous Silver Arrows, the Benz Patent Motor Car and Daimler's Motorised Coach as well as the legendary 300 SL Coupé from 1954 with its avant-garde winged doors. The striking new building is connected directly to the Mercedes-Benz Center, where the latest models are on display.
