The Mount Royal Park covers 200 hectares and lies in the middle of Montreal island. The highest point is at 234m. Frederick Law Olmsted, the designer or NYC's Central Park also designed this park.
How to get there
The Park is easily accessed by foot or bike from the city. There is also a selection of buses and you can drive in by car too.

... places I went to was Mount Royal. It's really a fantastic mountain. At the look out point you can see a panoramic view of the city. Not too far is Beaver lake, which is an artificial lake surrounded by many walking/jogging paths. Close-by is the cemetery, which is a nice place to visit with its different types of headstones, tombs and Mausoleums.... Read more
