A place travelers can visit Mount Sinai
Reviews: Mount Sinai
General description: Mount Sinai
Rising 2,258m high from the Sinai peninsula this Mountain is known under many names; Mount Sinai, Mount Horeb, Mount Musa, Gabal Musa and Moses’ Mountain. The biblical mount Sinai was where God gave Moses the 10 Commandments. There is controversy as to if the biblical and geographical mountains are the same place but as they share the same name it is a popular place of pilgrimage.Sunrise on the Mountain
The ascent is only possible on foot and it is especially busy at dawn as tourists and pilgrims crowd the summit to witness the sunrise.
