Some sites worth seeing in the historic center include; the Santa Chiara Monastery and Church with it's beautiful frescoes and relaxing atmosphere. The Piazza San Domenico Maggiore which was the what saved the monks during the plague. Walk down Spaccanpoli to discover some old Greek and Roman statues. Stroll along the Via San Gregorio Armeno to see the Nativity workshops. Visit Naples underground under the church of San Lorenzo Maggiore. Admire Naple's stunning cathedral, the Duomo and see what else you may come across during your adventures.
