Padang Padang Beach
Padang Padang Beach is on the island Bali by Indonesia, in the Uluwatu area. This bay is famous for its waves, attracting surfers from all over the world. Not only is the water ideal for surfing but also for swimming and snorkeling.

Getting to Padang Padang Beach
Padang Padang beach is only a thirty minute drive from Kuta beach and from the Mia Villa resort. The beach itself is located in Pecatu village, which is a twenty minute drive from Ngurah Rai International airport and a five minute drive from Garuda Wisnu Kencana Park.
 
The Beach
The beach is only 120 meters long, but the crystal clear water, the silver sand and the stunning cliffs make the visit worthwhile.

Along the beach there are several “Warnungs”,which are family owned businesses. Some are located on top of the cliff, from which you can witness a breathtaking sunset during a romantic dinner.
 
After a day of the beach, you may want to visit the nearby Uluwatu temple which is not too far away. The sunset from this site is also spectacular.

Eat, Pray, Love…
Julia Roberts’s movie “Eat, Pray, Love...” had two scenes filmed on Padang Padang Beach as it was believed that this area was perfect for the making of a romantic scene; however, this started attracting more tourists to the area as well.

Climate
The Bali climate is tropical due to the proximity of the equator. The average temperature all year round is 31 Celsius. During the wet season (October to April), the air is quite humid but during the dry season (May to September) the humidity is lower.
