Paradise Island is a small island off the North Coast which tourists flock too for the easy snorkeling in clear blue waters.
 
Paradise Island Day Trip
Tours are offered by all the hotels along the North Coast as well as other tour providers.
You take the bus to La 'Isabela from where you board a speed boat.
You pass the coast of the Monti Cristi National Park on your way to Paradise Island. During your guided Snorkel tour you can watch and marvel at the colourful underwater world with its many fish. After a 2 hour stop for swimming and sun bathing you head back to Punte Rucia through the mangroves. After Lunch you head back to the hotel. Often you will stop off at a Cigar factory on the way home.
The trip will cost around 70 USD per person.
