Location of Parangtritis Beach
Being one of the favorite tourist destinations in the city, it is conveniently located in the southern part of Yogyakarta province, about 40 kilometers away from the city. It is merely a one hour car drive from the center of Yogyakarta.

will find a river with fresh water and coastal reefs at the sea.
Tip: Due to the constant, pleasant breeze of the ocean it is often not noticeable how hot the sun is, therefore necessary sun equipment should bepacked.
