The Port is also open to visitors. There are many attraction such as the World Port Days an annual maritime event, FutureLand an information and experience center about the construction of the new port, a whole range of museums and plenty of boats offering tours of the harbor.
World Port Days
Run by the Port of Rotterdam authority this event offers; Quay presentations where the public have access to working ships, excursions with nautical demonstrations and a program of breathtaking stunts and other shows which can be watched from the Erasmus Bridge of the Wilhelminakage Grandstand.
FutureLand
At the FutureLand Information Centre you can watch how the land rises out of the water to create the Rotterdam Port of the future. There is even a restaurant where you can watch all the work happening before your eyes while you relax and have a drink and a bite to eat.
