The Prater is Vienna's amusement park. Every visitor to the city is "obliged" to take a ten-minute ride on the giant ferris wheel, a 67 m high iron construction which is seen as the
emblem of Vienna and became world famous as the backdrop for Carol Reed's post-war thriller "The Third Man".

Opening hours
From the 15th of March - 31st of October most rides and restaurants are open from 10am - 1am. During the off season you can still visit the grounds but many of the rides may be closed. The Ferris
whell is however usually open.
