During the summer season Santis makes for an exciting hike however, it is not for the faint of heart.
The track is diverse offering different aspects for all. The first section is more of a traditional hiking path with windy mud tracks taking you up the side of the mountain to the halfway hut. From there onwards it becomes more exciting with the inclusion of some very simple rock climbing (no equipment needed).
The last section however, gives you an almost vertical ladder built of rocks and some metal steps to climb to the top.
