Description
The shining example of a Venetian baroque church - a fantastic building which is clad in white marble and was designed by Baldassare Longhena with an octagonal plan. The church was erected to give thanks for the end of an epidemic of plague.
Vespers with high quality organ music are held here every Saturday at 4.00 p.m. Entrance is free.
