Soana Island - Isla Saona is a nature reserve/Island just off th south-east tip of the Dominican Republic.

Stereotypical desert island
The perfect sandy white beaches, blue seas and palm trees make it the perfect location for films and adverts. For example the Bounty chocolate bar advert. Christopher Columbus gave it it's name in 1494. It is an island rich with wildlife especially birds and fish. It is also easy to spot tourists who come to the Island to snorkel, marvel and relax.
