Charlottenburg Palace is the largest palace in Berlin. The palace was built in the 17th century and has impressive architecture. The interior is of an exotic style specifically baroque and rococo styles.

Royal Residence
Over 300 years old, this is the summer residence of the electress Sophie Charlotte. The living quarters of Frederick I and his wife can be visited today and the rear section of the park contains the mausoleumof Queen Louise, the wife of Frederick II.

The palace was damaged during the second world war and has since been reconstructed and provides a major visitor attraction for tourists. A popular interest amongst the guests is the crown jewels and royal silver which are on display there.
