Sentosa Island
Sentosa Island is off of the southern coast of Singapore.

The beaches on this island are very clean, with fine sand and Palm trees. If you want to enjoy a walk on the beach, you can do so for 3.2 kilometers. There are not only the palm trees but also alang alang huts, flowers, and a 30 meter wide beach front.

There are a total of three beaches on this island:

• Palawan Beach
  
• Tanjong Beach
  

 
Due to the fact that there a several small islands off of the shore of Sentosa the waves are very small and the water is quite shallow. Therefore this is an ideal beach for families with small children.

Getting to Sentosa
You can easily reach Sentosa from the center of town of Singapore. Take the metro to the harbor and from there take the bus or cable car.

Climate
The climate is usually hot and humid with an average temperature of 30 Celsius. Heavy rains are possible from November to February.
