Description
The eleven black flames in the Cologne coat of arms represent the British princess Ursula and her retinue of eleven thousand virgins. Legend has it that they were slaughtered by the Huns when they were laying siege to Cologne. The mortal remains of St Ursula and other relics are kept in the Golden Chamber.
