The Stratosphere Casino, Hotel and Tower is the northernmost of the major casinos at the end of the Strip in Las Vegas. It houses a hotel and of course the obligatory casino. At 356m high it is the tallest free-standing tower in the United States.
 
Rides in the Stratosphere
The Stratosphere tower offers a selection of rides. Big Shot at 1,081ft - 329m high is the highest thrill ride in the world. Insanity is the second highest thrill ride in the world where you dangle over the side of the tower and then spin at around 40mph. The SkyJump Las Vegas is their newest addition which is a kind of controlled bungee jump where you can plummet 855ft - 261m. They also have the 3rd highest thrill ride in the world: X-Scream at 866ft - 264m.
