A guided tour to the secret culinary places in the heart of Barcelona

 

Tour includes: 4 visits to restaurants, bars and speciality food stores. Introduction to catalan food culture by a renowned food journalist from Barcelona (www.dirkengelhardt.info). Free drinks and food samples in all 4 places! The tour starts at a typical bask Pintxo Bar, where every participant can choose one Pintxo and one drink (beer or wine). Next stop is a casual tapas place near the harbor, where spanish tortilla and sherry is sampled. Then the walk leads to a spanish cheese shop, where everyone gets to taste 3 samples of spanish cheese, accompanied by a glass of red wine. The last stop is a quiet cafe, where one piece of cake and cup of coffee is offered. Everything is in walking distance. The tour is about 2 hours.
