Europe's biggest waterfall is at its most impressive after the Alp snow melting period. The best view overall is to be had from Castle Wörth.

When we went last weekend i was expecting more of a waterFALL.. the water at RhineFall doesn't really fall. But it was still cool to see and I think worth a visit on a nice day out. Read more

Visiting The Rhine falls was a beautiful day out. We arrived about lunchtime and although he weather wasn't great, we were able to walk around the waters and take pictures of the stunning waterfalls.
There is no entrance fee and there is a small park for children, also a couple of restaurants/cafes as you walk around.
There was also the opportunity to take a boat ride. One of the boats 'boat 2' went across to the other side for a chance to walk around and see the waterfalls from a different angle. We went on 'boat 1' which took the visito... Read more

... a beautiful small city on the Rhine. The n we went a little to Germany and we reentered least in the Swiss canton of Schaffhausen, where are located this largest plain waterfall from Europe. We've seen something similar on the Danube in our ROMANIA at Portile de Fier , but there is also a hydroelectric. We saw Rheine falls panorama, we take a tour at Rhine Falls Worth Castle where we drinking some Swiss beers and coffee and we return with boat near the falls. It was absolutely fantastic....
