Tsambika Beach

A beautiful golden sandy beach in Rhodes with crystal clear water and a large rock with the Monastery of the Virgin of Tsambika. This is where the name of the beach originated from and is said to work miracles on women having difficulty conceiving so women often come here to pray. If the womens prayers are answered, they will name their child after the virgin.

The beach is located on the eastern part of the island, close to the famous monestry of Panaghia Tsambika. Popular for families and small children the beach offers enough rooms for sports games and has sunbeds and umbrellas.

There is a mini market next to the busstop.
