Description
This world famous museum in a Dominican convent houses a rich collection of Romanesque and Gothic art, archaeological finds from the early and prehistoric periods and also modern art by Picasso. The absolute highlight of the collection, however, is Grünewald's Isenheim Altar which stands in the convent chapel.
