The „Verwallgruppe“is a group of Mountains within the Austrian Alps. The name comes from the Romanisch language meaning Beautiful Valley. A part of the Verwallgruppe is a protected bird area, the rest of the mountains are a very popular destination for mountaineers and hikers as there are fewer glaciers in the area than in surrounding areas.

Practical information:
The Hohe Riffler is 3168m high; the Kuchenspitze is 3148m high; the Küchlspitze is 3147m high; the Blankahorn is 3129m high; the Seeköpfe is 3061m high; the Patteriol is 3056m high; the Saumspitze is 3039m high and the kleine Riffler is 3014m high.
