Waka Luka
Nusa Lembongan is one of three islands by Bali. It is only about 11 kilometers southeast of the mainland and measures four by three kilometers. The island can only be reached by boat, one company offering a ship names Waka Luka.
 
Waka Luka, as well as other company’s offers sailing tours to the island and motorboat tours. Waka Luka’s trip involves breakfast, lunch and cocktails.
 
You will then have plenty of time to explore the island or to join some of the beach activities, such as banana boat rides, diving, sunbathing, etc.

Nusa Lembongan
On and around the island you can visit the settlement of the inhabitants and the diligence market. Additionally there are several sub-areas. Most farmers on the island are seaweed farmers; therefore you will be able to see plenty of it while you are visiting.
Nusa Lembongan is just far enough away from the mainland to remain quite calm and tourist-free.

Climate
The climate of Lembongan is similar to that of Bali. However, it is drier, especially in the months from May to September. You should avoid visiting the island with the Waka Luka during the months of January and February, as this is the wet season.
 
Tip: In order to bring a car onto the island you will need special permission from the village elders, as there are practically no cars on the island.
