General description: Wat Pho

Wat Pho is Bangkok's largest temple and located near the Grand Palace. The famous reclining Buddha was built in 1832. The reclining Buddha is 46 meters long and 50 meters high. The body is plated with gold. Eyes and feet are decorated with mother of pearl.

Today, Wat Pho is a Traditional Thai Massage Education Certification Center.

Hours: 8:00-17: 00

Admission: 50 baht
