Originally a fishing village, there is still an array of brightly coloured fishing boats. There is a market area located nearby the port wherethere is the opportunity to pick up some local craft products and materials.

The port is located on the peninsula in Bodrum and isusually referred to as the New St. Tropez. It is 36km from milas internationalAirport and only a few minutes from the city centre. The port is big enough to hold 2 large cruise liners and 3 motorboats at the same time.

Inside the terminal building is a duty free shop, restaurant and café.
