Description
The world-famous Basle Zoo is on the southwest edge of the city centre, only a seven minute walk from the railway station. It contains around 4000 animals over an area of 13 hectares. At the Children's Zoo, the young visitors are even allowed to enter the enclosures to pet and feed the animals.
It is not just little kids who can get lost in this zoo.
