Description
As part of an EXPO project, Hanover Zoo has developed from classical zoo into a modern theme and experience park. In the lovely "Jungle Palace", visitors can see a recreation of a ruined Indian palace, which is slowly being taken back by Nature. In this spectacular setting, there are elephants, tigers and leopards. On "Gorilla Mountain", one can almost touch the apes while, in the "Zambezi" area, one can see the animals of Africa in a broad river landscape.
From classic zoo to theme park. It's not just the animals who feel at home here.
