3 Woman travellers first trip to Egypt Luxor/Nile Cruise
Boat. MS Terramar
The boat was small compared to others on the Nile but was extremely comfortable. Only 20 suites, ours was on the lower deck with two windows, and great views of the Nile. Very clean and spacious for three people, towels changed every day as well as a towel sculpture. Tea/coffee facilities in room with fresh fruit, biscuits and fridge with drinks.
Staff.
The Manager and all of the staff were great. Saw housekeeping staff in mornings but always polite and helpful with our laundry. Chefs and dining staff were friendly and polite and enjoyed having a joke with us. Food amazing with buffet breakfast and lunch, afternoon tea and a 4 course dinner. Everything perfect! Bar staff on deck always friendly and helpful telling us about the sites as we sailed along. Cannot praise all of them enough.
e.g. the rice pudding was to die for!
We even had a goody bag when we left the boat and went to our hotel. Which was a nice surprise.
Entertainment.
Nubian dancers, Whirling dervish and belly dancer all made for a great night. But the Egyptian night was the best. Everyone dressed up, we even bought our dresses and we had a great evening. Laughter and games - what great fun.
Guide.
Our guides name was Ahmed and he was the best, made our excusions extremely enjoyable, and had a great passion and knowledge about everything he told us.
Nothing was too much trouble, he made the trip for us!
Only have one more thing to add. Fantastic! would do the Nile again with MS Terramar.
