Basilica San Marco
Perched right on Piazza San Marco is this brilliant example of Byzantine architecture. It is known for its 5 spectacular bulbous domes that loom at the top, which make it look a bit more like a mosque that belongs in Istanbul rather than a church and one of the best Venice attractions.
