What can I say; the shops alone are worth a visit to Manchester. The sheer amount of different shops available in the city is amazing. Whether you want designer
labels or you want to find bargains. My favorite is the department store Selfridges. I also thought this was a great place to enjoy a cocktail too! It was a
perfect break from all the shopping.
The nightlife is also one of the greater attractions for young people and the young at heart. Top tip are the bars around Canal Street. Home to the gay community in Manchester it is a great place if you are looking to have a great night out! The Fallowfield area is also a good recommendation, this is where you will find most of the cities student population! So I would head there if you are on a budget.
