Hi there
Which do you think is the best Brazilian Carnival?
I've been to Brazil some times and every city states theirs is the best!
Anyways, I think the ones in Rio de Janerio and Salvador da Bahia are probably the best, though being so different.
In Rio samba schools practice year-round to prepare for the parade, and visitors mainly watch and enjoy the show.
In Salvador da Bahia, carnival is made of giant "trio electricos" - huge trucks with the bands playing and singing and dancing! The visitor is part of the show and of the party...
Has anyone ever taken part in one of these crazy parties?
Carnival is behind the corner....

When arriving at Carnaval, you are greeted with delight, dazzle, and decadence. Carnaval is Portuguese for Carnival, a festival that takes place annually in Brazil. People from all around the world
flock to the streets of Rio de Janiero to share in the celebration with locals known as Cariocas.
Starting the Friday before Ash Wednesday, seven weeks before Easter Sunday, Rio de Janerio hosts many festivities that occur throughout the city complete with music, parades, dancing, and renowned Carnival balls.
The Carnival is celebrated all over Brazil, but the three most intesting places to see the Carnival is in Rio de Janeiro, Salvador de Bahia, and Olinda.
