Stopover in Dubai

Hello!
we are planning a journy to Thailand with a stopover in Dubai (4 days).
As this will be our first time in Dubai we would be very grateful for any advice concerning what to see and do!
We also would like to make an organized tour to the desert. Is this recommendable and do you know where we could make a booking for this?
Best regards!
Tony

Hi Tony!
My personal advice, bring a lot of money. It\'s quite expensive there if you want to really go shopping or stay in a good place. I only stopped over for a day though, so really can\'t give you more info, sorry.

Hey Tony!
Here some tips for trips and excursions in Dubai: Dubai creek (don\'t miss crossing it by a so called abra), gold and spice souk, heritage and diving village (there are some very nice restaurants where you can also smoke water pipe), the Jumeirah mosque, the museum of Dubai, then the famous Burj al Arab hotel. If you want to make a day trip, I recommend to hire a car and go to Hatta. It\'s an oasis next to Oman. A really beautiful place.
A tour to the desert is also very nice. Most of them start in the evening and include barbecue, camel riding, belly dance ... When we were in Duabi, we were able to book the tour directly in the hotel. Just ask at the reception of your hotel.
