Too scared to travel?

In my time, I've known plenty of people who really wanted to travel to Australia, but were put off. For what reason? Well, basically, the wildlife!

I'm no big fan of spiders, but I don't think that would stop me going (I managed Madagascar after all), but it seems like phobias stop plenty of people from jetting off.

What do you guys think? Do you know anyone who's let a phobia stand in the way of travel? What about yourselves?

What really scares me about Australia is the length of the flight...I don't know why, but thinking of spending so many hours on a plane...

Anyone understands or shares my fear?

Long flights would create unpleasant scenario in my mind, but phobias I think I could carry it gracefully, its the long flight or a long trip by ships that I really don't like , its scary

Like the Titanic feeling?!!!

In any case, I will overcome my fears, because I'd really love to visit Australia and New Zealand...maybe a couple of drinks could help!

traveling with long flights is really boring, but it not scares me at all! what i do while on the middle of the flight is to bring out my ipod and turn on my favorite music, which will give me peace of mind so i would not think anything bad will happen a long the flight. Ipod help me sleep as well i would like to share to you guys the application of rain maker in ipod i used to play it when i'm on a trip. Next month my mom and my brother will visit my Aunt all the way in australia i was thinking of joining them. I love Australia i have been there twice. :)
