Paris has so much to offer; every visit is a surprise. Choosing the right accommodation, though, is crucial to make your stay as cozy as possible. Personal experiene has tought me that unfortunately
standards of Paris hotels are quite low: tiny, uncomfortable rooms and very high prices. Finding a cost-effective hotel may become an issue.
There is a solution, though
Apartments!!
Most of them are available starting from a 2-night stay, prices are absolutely affordable, quality of accommodations is definitely higher and you may choose your favourite area. I personally recommend the Marais (4th arrondissement). It is central but quiet, lively but safe, and you will have one of the best shopping experiences here!
Finding an apartment is very easy: simply surf the net. Most websites have pictures, and you may check availabilities directly online.
You can easily choose to spend from 60 to over 200 euros per night. Enjoy!

That sounds like a good idea! Sometimes hotels are so expensive. I've actually considered couchsurfing before, but I'm not too sure at the moment!

I also really like the idea of renting out apartments rather than staying in hotels. I find the experience a lot better, and you do usually end up saving money, especially if you rent an apartment
between a bunch of people. You can also cook, so you don't end up spending a lot of money on eating out in restaurants. I haven't yet tried couchsurfing, I might someday! I like the ahparis.com
website mentioned, here are some other options I found:
all-paris-apartments.com
cheapparisapartmentrentals
And here are some that are of a little different price range, but they're really nice:
casamundo
holidaylettings

Thanks for the info. However, I won't be traveling to Paris any time soon. I think it has become a cheesy destination.
