Hi
I am really happy to have discovered this site! I have traveled around the US on a number of road trips so I am excited to find a place to get more info and perhaps pass on to others some of the info that I have discovered.
My next trip is in April/May this year. Part of our trip involves driving from Vegas to San Diego. Although I have traveled around many places in the South West, I have never made this particular journey. Route planners estimate this journey at about 4 and 3/4 hours. Can anyone tell me if this is this realistic? Are there any traffic hot spots we should avoid (or times of day?) as I don't want to be on the road all day. Also, can anyone recommend a good place to stop for lunch on the way that is convenient and not too pricey.
