I went to hk last week, and thanks to our guide Ronald, it was a 2-happy-days journey!
Even I’d never been to hk before, I don’t want to join a classic tourist group, however, I need someone to show me around the local hk, and want to try different delicious food, so I found a special tour called “my hk tour”, which provided me private limousine, private guide and a tailored individual travel, and I have 2 happy days in hk with my family!
The first day, about 9:00am Ronald picked us up at the airport, and took us to some famous places at once. When we first saw the van which would drove us around hk, we felt satisfied with it! Then we went to the Peak, which offers spectacular views over the whole city. Then we went to the Repulse Bay, which locates in the South part Repulse Bay locates in the South part of Hong Kong Island. Its English name originated from a British royal warship that stationed in the gulf to fight against pirates in the past. Later we went to Stanley Market. We spent the first night at the Avenue of Stars, and the Temple Street Night Market, both are the famous tourist spot in hk. That day we also tried different local food and have delicious meals, and we live in a hotel called red tea, where we could go shopping near it and the environment of it was bad either!
The second day, after we tasted the world’s famous dim sum at an old-styled Chinese restaurant, we went to Wong Tai Sin Temple, so many people there. And no trip to Hong Kong would be complete without a visit to the world's tallest, outdoor, seated bronze Buddha which sits serenely atop Ngong Ping plateau amid the spectacular mountain scenery of Lantau Island. The majestic figure of the seated Buddha is 34 metres high, was cast in China and took over 10 years to complete. Weighing 250 tonnes, it was unveiled in 1993 amid deeply religious ceremonies.about 7:00pm, ronald drove us to the airport and we left hk. what a wonderful trip we had!
We all had fun in hk, thanks to our guide Ronald, who used his authentic point of view to tell the stories of Hong Kong.
The link below is Ronald’s website, maybe it's a great help for you guys who want to have a trip to hk!(i promise Ronald to let more people know his service when back home
